For our 'Organic Sauerkraut' we use organic cabbage, but no juniper berries. It has a sweeter taste, and a more delicate texture.
Low in calories, but high in fiber and antioxidants. Our sauerkraut is handmade in a clean and safe environment, using locally grown cabbage and sea salt. We ferment it for a week at 22°C for best flavor, color and maximum vitamin content (C, B and K).
Unlike supermarket brands, we don't pasteurize ours. This ensures that all nutrients and probiotic goodness remain in the jar.
Our sauerkrauts are delicious on their own, hot or cold. Or the perfect accompaniment to sausages, sandwiches or on the side with a Japanese curry or rich stew.
