Intense, fruity and well balanced oil with hints of almond and fresh olive leaves
Imported from Spain, our Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced from certified organic olives, the growing, harvesting, manufacturing and packaging of which has been reviewed by an accredited organic certifying agency for USDA and EU standards. Our oil is produced within 2 hours of picking the olives from the trees. After they are ground into paste and spun in a centrifuge to extract this high-quality oil, the first cold extracted, unfiltered oil is subjected to natural static decantation and preserved in an inert atmosphere. The result is an excellent quality olive oil, of very low acidity (0.15%) and a very high level of antioxidants.
Various healthcare associations suggest consuming 2 tablespoons of olive oil a day, may reduce the risk of heart disease, due to its monounsaturated fat content. Extra virgin olive oil also contains polyphenols which act as antioxidants, Vitamin E, and a small amount of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids.
